Review: Eona ,the last Dragoneye
Description:
Eon has been revealed as Eona, the first female Dragoneye in hundreds of years. Along with fellow rebels Ryko and Lady Dela, she is on the run from High Lord Sethon's army. The renegades are on a quest for the black folio, stolen by the drug-riddled Dillon; they must also find Kygo, the young Pearl Emperor, who needs Eona's power and the black folio if he is to wrest back his throne from the selfstyled "Emperor" Sethon. Through it all, Eona must come to terms with her new Dragoneye identity and power - and learn to bear the anguish of the ten dragons whose Dragoneyes were murdered. As they focus their power through her, she becomes a dangerous conduit for their plans. . . .
Review:
The beginning was the bomb actually. It was still full of thrills. Eona and her friends hiding from Sethon. Ok,I woudn't spoil much.Anyway, the story still goes wherein they would have this little adventure and find ways on how to attack their enemy. Blah blah. It was an enjoyable journey , in my opinion. Eona, was still not sure of her powers and stuff. In this book I also found out more about Dela, Ryko , Lord Ido and of course Kygo. (Ooooh, Kygo *u*)
As of Eona's personality, in here she was growing into a mature dragoneye. She was not the same Eona/ Eon unlike in the first book, for me she has changed a lot. Also because of what she has exerienced and learned. It was good really. Knowing that she's chaninging, not your usual boring heroine. She was somehow in between of good and bad. But she still manage to do the right thing.
Anyway, almost all of the characters in this book were in in between of good and bad. You can say that they are actually real persons, who has feelings. They are up and down , not perfect human beings. Of course it's fine. I can get to know them more. There's also romance in here, obviously , stating the fact that Eon has reaveled herself as Eona.
This is really an awesome dulogy. I was sad when I finished it earlier. I mean, the experience of reading it and being in the celestial dragons world, with the dragons and Eona was a very fulfilling journey. (I know all bookworms would understand me..) It was very an emotional ride, reading this book and now it has come to an end. Why?!? *sobs* The ending was superb, by the way.
That's all. I would miss Eona. Epic story. Very Epic.

Book Haul: Eona,the last Dragoneye
After finishing Eon yesterday, I immediately bought its sequel Eona, a while ago. My hands were too itched to grab it already , and fortunately the last copy in the book store was still there. I was too excited and thrilled to know what will happen to Eona in this second book. Now it's already in my hands, and seeing its cover is fantastic. (Fan girl mode activated *u* ) I can't wait to know what happens in this one. I've searched in the net and found out that many people have thought this is great and better.
Ok, I should be reading instead of blogging here. Anyways, I'm way too excited! I'll post a review when I finish it.
P.S I miss Harry Potter! I must finish it soon after I;m done reading this.

Review: Eon Dragoneye Reborn
Description : Eon has been studying the ancient art of Dragon Magic for four years, hoping he'll be able to apprentice to one of the twelve energy dragons of good fortune. But he also has a dark secret. He is actually Eona, a sixteen-year-old girl who has been living a dangerous lie for the chance to become a Dragon-eye, the human link to an energy dragon's power. It is forbidden for females to practice the Dragon Magic and, if discovered, Eon faces a terrible death. After a dazzling sword ceremony, Eon's affinity with the twelve dragons catapults him into the treacherous world of the Imperial court, where he makes a powerful enemy, Lord Ido.
Review : Finally I've read one of my to die for books!Yay!
I finished this book, just minutes ago and it was epic. So EPIC. I loved the story, the characters and its formality. Plus the dragons, they were my favourites (Oooh, stories with dragons fascinate me!). It's really a great read.
Let me tell you that at first I had a hard time reading the first few chapters. I doubt that I would even like it . I find it hard to cope up with the too formal words,(everything is way too formal! ) and too long paragraphs.
Sometimes,I did search some review about this , so I can somehow understand where the story is going.
This is really not your usual fantasy. Anyway, I find it unique and cool. The idea is wonderful, when I was reading it I felt like that it's not a fiction book. I also am a fan of myths , so I did enjoy this book a lot.
About the protagonist Eon/Eona, I loved her fighting spirit and determination even if she's already close to giving up. She has this strong personality, even if she admits to herself that she doesn't know what she's doing. She has a heart of a warrior. She is a true hero.
The book got exciting in the middle chapters, where it got action packed. I was too engrossed already in finishing it. It got too tense as if I was watching an action movie. I can't wait to buy the sequel Eona, and read it. I'm way too excited! Thumbs up for this book!
All in all, I super love this book! ASDFGHJKL!! ( Fangirl mode )

Review: Divergent
Description : In Beatrice Prior's dystopian Chicago, society is divided into five factions, each dedicated to the cultivation of a particular virtue--Candor (the honest), Abnegation (the selfless), Dauntless (the brave), Amity (the peaceful), and Erudite (the intelligent). On an appointed day of every year, all sixteen-year-olds must select the faction to which they will devote the rest of their lives. For Beatrice, the decision is between staying with her family and being who she really is--she can't have both. So she makes a choice that surprises everyone, including herself.
During the highly competitive initiation that follows, Beatrice renames herself Tris and struggles to determine who her friends really are--and where, exactly, a romance with a sometimes fascinating, sometimes infuriating boy fits into the life she's chosen. But Tris also has a secret, one she's kept hidden from everyone because she's been warned it can mean death. And as she discovers a growing conflict that threatens to unravel her seemingly perfect society, she also learns that her secret might help her save those she loves . . . or it might destroy her.

Review: Finally I have read this book after days of longing and curiosity.A big thanks to my friend who lend me this.
First of all,I learned many great things about this book. It's such a wonderful thing how this manage to make me realize all the virtues in life. For me this is not just another dystopian novel , because it's a pleasure reading this book. It's also an easy read. Plus, this made me like and want to have tatoos!
The protagonist,Tris is a fighter and a leader. The world where she lives values the different virtues way too much, thus group the same people who values each virtue altogether . I somehow envy that kind of world where everything is organized. But of course, it's dystopia where everything is controlled,so forget the words I said earlier.
Many people said that this is like Hunger Games. But for me, it's definitely not. Let's just say HG is much violent. All in all, this is a great book! I can't wait to read its sequel Insurgent.

Review: Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire
Description: The summer holidays are dragging on and Harry Potter can't wait for the start of the school year. It is his fourth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and there are spells to be learnt, potions to be brewed and Divination lessons (sigh) to be attended. Harry is expecting these: however, other quite unexpected events are already on the march
Review:This book has a big difference compared to the previous one. This is more darker and not childish anymore, which is a plus for me. It's a great read! It has a twist that I didn't expect. It was a page turner, especially because Lord Voldemort was there . (Ooooh, I must not say his name ) I enjoyed the Triwizard Tournament, the parts where Harry was finding his ways in fighting the tasks. I felt sad for Harry because of what's his facing through. He felt too much depression here. But thanks to his friends who always help him. I can't still move on with this story because it was a pleasure reading it!

Book haul
I finally got the chance to buy my 'to die for' books! I bought The Power of Six , first (last Saturday) because I'm itching to read it already even though I still have a book that I'm currently reading. Then the day after that, my family and I went to Mall of Asia to celebrate my parent's anniversary, eventually I visited FullyBooked and bought Eon . I finally found it , actually it was my sister who found it for me. I really can't wait to read these! I'm confused, what will I be reading first? lol My younger brother also bought another animal book that he loves, another book to add in his collection of animal encyclopedia . I felt so happy for him , that he's spending his money for books.
Of course, everytime I enter a bookstore I always got too thrilled and excited , as if it's a paradise. I also saw several copies of The Fault in our stars by John Green, in Fullybooked. I promised myself that I would buy that book when I'm done with these , and some other books that's still piled up for me to read. How exciting it is to read! It's such a pleasure.

Review:Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Now, I know the reason why people worship J.K Rowling!
I admit I was not a huge fan of Harry Potter books, unlike others. Because I always got to see this in almost everything, movies, tumblr , facebook etc. I find it hard to cope up , by then I realized I got too old for this and got bored. I actually finished the first book last year, but somehow I forgot the story and the feeling of excitement reading it.
But now that I finished this 3rd book, I ate all of my words. Reading Harry Potter didn't bore me to death. I experienced being in Hogwarts too, at last ! Now I know the feeling! I even find myself, reading the book while eating lunch! It really got me hooked in reading. I fully understood now the story of Harry Potter , because before when I watched the movie , I didn't understood a thing. It's a great decision for me to read the book first then watch all the movies afterwards , so I would be familiarized with the characters and what was happening. I haven't read the second book though, I must read it soon. But because I became to love the book and the characters (Harry, Ron, Hermione and Draco.. even Snape! and everyone), I decided to go along with the fourth book , The Goblet of Fire instead. Then go back to the 1st and 2nd books.
Okay I talk too much, here's my review. Finally!
Review
This is magic! For me, it's more magical than the movie, or is it because I haven't watched them all yet? Whatever , the book is superb! J.K Rowling writes with simplicity yet never failed to amaze the reader. Hogwarts seem real , it makes me want to study and live there! Learning potions and spells , would seem nice and awesome. I felt that I was also a part of it. The author's idea is just wow! I never expected how the events would turn out. How one character would transform into someone you never thought him to be. After all this time it's only now that I know who Sirius Black is !
All in all this is an incredible book really, I can't believe I've only read it now. Because of this, I'm all set to read all the series. I can't also believe that I'm gonna say this, I know I'm all late and as they say "better late than never" but , Yay I'm also a fan of Harry Potter, whoop whoop!

Book im dying to read:The Power of Six
I've read the prequel, I am number Four months ago, I found out that the third book, The Rise of Nine has been released . I became excited but then I realized that I haven't finished the second book , The Power of Six yet. After finishing the first book , I immediately read the second book via internet , a pdf file. But I didn't last long because staring at the monitor hurt my eyes , and I got bored by it. I prefer the printed one badly. Unfortunately by then, this book wasn't available in the bookstores. These days, lucky for me, that I always see this at the bookstores. But I don't have time and money to buy it. Plus, I was doubting if I would buy it because the friend of my sister has a copy, thus I could borrow it instead. Suddenly I've made my mind that I couln't wait much longer to borrow the book. I've decided to buy them all now and complete the series , so that I have a collection of a trilogy. Because yesterday I watched the movie I am number Four again, and with that I've made my mind that I would really ,without a doubt buy the books.
Book I'm dying to read: Flipped
Book I haven't finished yet: Eragon
I'm a loser, I know!
I started reading this book at our school's library. It was fun reading it , really. But since I don't have a copy and I don't know any people who has one besides our library, I have abandoned a story that I came to love. I don't know why I stopped going to the library, I think because I got busy with school. With that reason I read the available books in our house instead. I always thought to myself that when I have my free time I would go back to the library and read it, or just borrow it instead. But that thought somehow evaporated in my mind. I miss reading this book, I miss the feeling that I was in the mediaval era. Because of this book I became to like dragons and began to wonder what was life in the medieval period. Somehow living in this era is simple, ordinary yet challenging. Ok , now I promise to myself that I would finish this and its trilogy.
P.S. before reading this , I really thought that Eragon is the dragon! (yeah because of the cover) xD
Book I'm dying to read: Divergent
I found out about this book Divergent by Veronica Roth through internet. I was bloghopping about finding some good books , eventually a link sent me in a blog where she recommend that this book is a must read. When I read its summary , I was amused and wanted to read it badly. As people say it's somehow similar to Hunger Games, because it's also a dystopian novel. But many of them say that it's not , others say that this is better. Whatever people say,I just got more curious about it. Then there came a time that I was so sure of myself that I would definitely buy the book. But before that I posted a picture of it in facebook saying that I would buy this soon. Luckily a friend of mine has one, and let me borrow hers instead. Of course I got excited! Hopefully I could borrow the book this week. Have the hopes up!
Book I'm dying to read: Eon
Since I've read The Lightning thief , I've suddenly became a fan of the fantasy genre in books. Before I only read romance- comedy ones because I find fantasy or any surreal themes not that interesting. Eventually I got bored by the romance or chick flic books and decided to submerge myself into reading a non-realistic story instead. For me it's a lot better or I would say a thousand times better. Also, whenever I go to bookstores, I always go to the fantasy section first.
I have listed many fantasy, sci-fi and dystopian novels that I would like to read in the future. One of them is Eon by Alison Goodman. I've searched it in Goodreads and found out in the reviews that it's really an awesome book. I always see this in bookstores before, but I paid it no mind. Now, I'm dying to buy it and regret the days when I just passed through it in the shelves. Ohh, I have the chance to buy this soon.
The Perks of being a wallflower
Reading this at first was weird for me, because I didn’t know that it was written in a diary format plus the protagonist talks as if he’s just only a ten year old kid. So I was kind of disappointed because I wasn’t expecting that, really. I also doubt that I wouldn’t even like the book. Of course I gave it a chance that eventually it would have an awesome plot too. Surprisingly Stephen Chbosky didn’t let me down. My friends were right that this book is wonderful and inspiring to read. As i turn every page I got hooked, it was evening and I only got the chance to read its first few pages only. Unfortunately the book was not mine, and my sister returned it afterwards. Then I borrowed a copy from my friend/blockmate , and I finished it in that same day. It was really good ! Charlie is the type of person who would I want to be friends with. I always remember Stargirl (Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli, Oh I love this book to death!)when I was reading this book. She and Charlie is alike in some terms. I can’t wait to watch the movie ! ^^
The adoration of jenna fox
For me, I find it very slow paced not until the climax. The climax was a boom! I wasn’t expecting it ,that I stopped for a minute and think of how it greatly uplift my interest in reading some more. It was just wow! I didn’t really see that coming! In one part it did give a hint of what was happening, but all my guesses were wrong. I like how this book made me love plot about science and finding your identity. Not only did I enjoy some tidbits about science (in which I admit is my weakness) but I also learned many great things about valuing our humanity . I was mindblown! That’s all I could say.
Love,Stargirl
Hands down!
This book never ever fails to make me smile and appreciate everything in life. This will always be the book that I would read forever and not get tired of the story. Stargirl is such an inspiration. A pleasant lady who is full of kindness and wisdom. She is so ordinary and simple but has a pure heart and soul. I adore Jerry Spinelli for creating an astounding fictional character. I read this twice and Stargirl always made me to be just like her. A one of a kind lady with dreams. This sequel is from Stargirl’s point of view and written in a diary form just like Charlie’s at “Perks of being a wallflower” . She is one amazing lady who would think of others rather than herself. She is not perfect , but she make things to be perfect and beautiful. She is full of passion. She has high hopes. She makes sure everyone must be happy. She is a stargirl.
